The Bristol Ensemble returns to Ditcheat with a programme full of energy and colour, featuring Vivaldi’s much-loved Concerto for two Trumpets and Geminiani’s La Folia.

Vivaldi’s concerto shows off the bright, clear sound of the trumpet in music that’s lively and full of character, while Geminiani’s La Folia takes a simple tune and transforms it into a set of dramatic and playful variations.
