Join us for Postcards from Tchaikovsky, an evening of rich and evocative string music inspired by the composer’s travels. Featuring Tchaikovsky’s passionate Souvenir de Florence and the deeply expressive Andante Cantabile, performed by cello soloist Harriet Wiltshire, this program brings to life the places that shaped his musical world. Tchaikovsky often visited Paris to hear Mozart’s Don Giovanni and The Marriage of Figaro, so expect a touch of Mozart alongside other hidden gems from the cities he adored. A journey in music not to be missed!
